ANUSHKA - FOUNDER
Since 1974, Anushka has been a pioneer in the beauty industry. A brand now synonymous with whole-body beauty and wellness began as a small yet lavish spa on New York’s Upper East Side named “The Anushka Petit Salon.” What was born from passion for research and results on the war against cellulite, developed into a world renowned beauty Empire.
Now, nearly 45 years later, her visionary approach of whole body beauty that began in the ’70’s, endures today at Anushka’s 12,000 square foot beauty Mecca known for legendary service, elegance, expertise and unparalleled results.
“In the 70’s, it was not easy for women to compete in business. At the time, I had an insatiable drive for challenging things. I was going after my dream. I had a passion to eradicate cellulite, immersing myself in research. I was after results. I recognized that I was in a position to flourish, and I jumped at the opportunity.
Over the years the business model expanded, reaching heights I had never imagined possible. We opened multiple locations throughout the country, launched one of the first cellulite-combating body contouring lotion collections, released a book and became the go-to-beauty-gurus for New York’s top newspaper and magazine editors.”
After moving the flagship to the Palm Beaches, Anushka added more verticals including the hair salon, medical centre, nail lounge and thriving retail segment.
The epitome of elegance, Anushka herself continues to set the tone for the soothing atmosphere at the spa and salon. Her heightened awareness of the synergistic link between inner and outer beauty has guided her to pioneer treatments and at-home products, utilizing the latest technologies in conjunction with time-tested natural remedies.”
